Board dissolves three advisory committees at May meeting

NH CAMPTON — Campton selectmen dissolve three committees at brief May meeting. Chair Sharon Davis recommended the dissolutions of the Roads, Community Power, and Climate Advisory Committees, with Selectman Mort Donahue moving and Selectman Karl Kelly seconding; the vote was unanimous. The board unanimously approved a Scope of Work and Memorandum of Understanding for the Campton and Ellsworth Emergency Operations Plan update, authorizing Town Administrator Charlie Smith to sign and appropriating contingency funds (line 4901-005).
Routine approvals also included the Highway Department's summer schedule change (four 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday beginning May 10) and a request for bids on a Durgin Building generator due June 12, 2026.
