Campton Board approves three highway equipment purchases

NH CAMPTON — Campton selectmen clear $175K in highway equipment purchases. The Board of Selectmen unanimously approved three Highway Department purchases totaling $175,856.13: a 2025 Ford Super Duty F-600 truck for $154,579 (Selectman Karl Kelly motion, Selectman Sherrill Howard second), a 1999 Morbark Model 13 Woodchipper for $16,000 (Selectman Mort Donahue motion, Kelly second), and a 1.5 cubic yard bucket for a John Deere Backhoe for $5,277.13 (Howard motion, Kelly second). The Board also authorized Fire Chief Daniel Defosses to enter into state contracts for the Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant program and approved an assessing abatement of $76.13 for Brian Connerton.
