Selectmen approve bridge assessment and capital projects

NH CAMPTON — Campton Board of Selectmen approves major capital spending and bridge assessment. The Board unanimously approved a $12,115 contract with HEB Engineers to assess the red-listed Perch Pond Road bridge. Selectmen authorized $472,115 for road paving from Peckham Industries and $162,202 for a new 2026 Ford F-600 highway truck with plow package and August delivery.
The Board also voted unanimously to request Governor Kelly Ayotte veto House Bills 1300 and 1374 concerning school-district taxes, and hired utility appraiser Brian Fogg to improve tax assessment accuracy and avoid future tax-anticipation notes.
