Selectboard approves amended highway safety grant, nominates health officer

NH CAMPTON — Campton Selectboard unanimously approves amended highway safety grant and nominates health officer. The amended grant, totaling $16,023.75, adds $2,523.75 in funding for police cruiser radar equipment. Town Administrator Charles Smith recommended Planning & Zoning Coordinator Bergren Cliff for the Town Health Officer position, which became vacant in December 2025.

The board also approved tax corrections totaling $114 for Branch Brook Campground's Hummingbird Heights section, including a $75 abatement for Brian Connerton and refunds to three property owners whose bills were not properly adjusted following 2025 tax map changes. The board received five road reconstruction bids for FY 2026 but deferred final selection until after Town Meeting.
